"The U.S. and China agreed to work together on climate action. What would push this cooperation forward?," authored by Associate Professor of Political Science Dimitar Gueorguiev, was published in the Washington Post. At a Wednesday news conference at the UN climate summit (COP26), the U.S. and China, the world’s two largest emitters of greenhouse gases, declared their intention to "work individually, jointly, and with other countries during this decisive decade." Gueorguiev discusses what can be expected of China's participation in international climate efforts.
