John E. Hall named executive director of Indianapolis Housing Agency

John HallMaxwell alumnus John E. Hall ’00 MPA has been named the new executive director of the Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA) — an appointment made by Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. The IHA provides public housing services and skills-based training programs to over 9,600 Indianapolis residents.

Before joining the IHA, Hall served as director for the City of Wichita’s Housing and Community Services Department, where he successfully implemented affordable housing preservation and health home initiatives. Hall also worked for many years with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As deputy director of asset management and portfolio oversight at the HUD, Hall oversaw and managed more than 33,000 properties nationally.
