Peter O’Neil ’91 BA (IR) has joined the advisory board of Mission 500, a nonprofit serving children, families, and communities in crisis across the United States.
As an advisory board member, O’Neil will help guide Mission 500 and help the charity extend both its message and its ability to fulfill its mission. O’Neil is currently the CEO of ASIS International, a nonprofit that provides educational, certification, and networking opportunities to security professionals; he has held that position for the past four years. He previously spent 16 years with the American Industrial Hygiene Association, beginning as a director of marketing and member services before eventually being appointed the organization’s executive director, a role in which he served for more than seven years. Additionally, O’Neil has served in several executive volunteer leadership positions over this time, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
