Global Programs

Maxwell students have access to an incredibly diverse and well‑developed set of international programs. Through experiential learning, these programs enable students to develop a competitive advantage as international practitioners.

Global programs come in two main varieties:

Internships & Practical Experience
Combines professional development—typically in the form of an internship—with coursework.

Coursework Abroad
Specialized seminars and classes are available through Global Studies while World Partners allow students to study at universities around the world.

Students may combine Coursework Abroad with internships or other practical experience. Participants are encouraged to reach out to the faculty leading the programs and relevant SU offices in the region for support in obtaining practical experience in addition to the coursework.

Read our global PAIA blog, The Stacks: PAIA at Home & Abroad, for first-hand accounts from our students about their Global Programs experiences.
