Maxwell / PAIA / Public Diplomacy & Global Communications
  • Public Diplomacy and Global Communications

  • Our public diplomacy and global communications program, offered in partnership with the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, leads to a master of arts degree and trains students to carry out public communications for governments, nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector.

Students in this program will learn about the emerging field of public diplomacy and gain the skills needed to understand how to build relationships with multicultural audiences. Your courses will encompass the study of how governments and NGOs communicate and build relationships in ways that have a positive impact on many public and private sector audiences.

    Curriculum

Students complete the one-and-a-half year, 43-credit program by taking classes in both the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Maxwell School.
