Professor Siddiki trains with students in the Policy Design Lab at the Maxwell School

Training: Policy Design Studio

Learn to engage governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in policy formulation, the design of public policy content and policy implementation. Our evidence-based training equips current and future public service leaders with knowledge and skills for policy design, policy implementation and stakeholder engagement through short online and in-person modules, multi-day workshops and contract-basis opportunities.

Analysis: Policy Design Studio

Through technical analysis, we help governments and non-governmental organizations evaluate whether policies are effectively designed and carried out, as well as whether the stakeholder engagement processes they are using are effectively designed and run. Analyses are conducted on a contractual basis.

Policy Design and Implementation in a Global Environment

Professor Saba Siddiki, of the Center for Policy Design and Governance, led a policy design workshop, covering such topics as goal setting, stakeholder engagement in policy formulation, policy drafting, and implementation design and assessment. The workshop drew on examples from across the globe to illustrate how practitioners in different policy and political contexts engage in policy design and implementation. Participants engaged in exercises that allowed them to apply concepts and skills covered in the workshop to the different national contexts in which they were working.
