The Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the European Union: Multilateral Relations in a Changing Eurasia

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) consists of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan and is dedicated to advancing their mutual political, economic, security, and cultural ties.  How is the development of the SCO perceived by the European Union and its member states, and how will relations between the EU and the SCO develop, particularly at a time of heightened tension between the EU and Russia?
