
Brenda Bruno

Brenda holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a concentration in international cooperation from San Ignacio de Loyola University in Lima, Peru. Currently, she is furthering her education at Syracuse University's Maxwell School, pursuing a dual master of public administration and master of arts in international relations. Her academic journey includes a keen interest in security studies and Latin American studies, reflected in her pursuit of certificates of advanced study in both areas. Driven by her dedication to global security and U.S.-Latin American relations, Brenda aspires to make a positive impact in the field of international relations.
Brenda has expertise in strengthening international commercial bonds across the private and public sectors, which she acquired while serving as the institutional relations coordinator at the Australia-Peru Chamber of Commerce in Lima. In this pivotal role, she skillfully fostered collaboration between the Australian Embassy, private enterprises and Peruvian government agencies, effectively enhancing bilateral relations. Brenda's responsibilities encompassed diverse tasks, such as conducting research, publishing newsletters, organizing events and managing social media, all during the crucial period of ratifying the Peru-Australia Free Trade Agreement in 2019.

Fabiola Fatima Casaretto Ibanez

Fabiola earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University (Peru) and studied one semester at the Pontifical Javeriana University Cali (Colombia) as a scholar of the Pacific Alliance Program. She is currently pursuing a master of public administration at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Fabiola has worked as a professional within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Peru. Most recently, she was a consultant for the National Civil Service Authority (SERVIR). She has extensive experience in the implementation of reform mechanisms to the state structure (i.e., the creation and extinction of public entities, public programs, inter-organizational coordination spaces, etc.); research on administrative reforms from a comparative perspective; the design and coordination of spaces for co-creation of public policies associated with state reform; policies to improve the development of senior civil servants; the integration of public services for citizens; and the review of technical-regulatory proposals within the framework of regulatory quality reform.
Fabiola is passionate about the reform of organizations and public services, decentralization, and collaborative processes for solving public problems. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer.

Rosa Emilia Milagros Arevalo Leon

Rosa holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and has completed master’s degree studies in human rights at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She is currently pursuing a master of public administration at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Rosa has served as a key consultant for an array of organizations in the public and private sectors, including the International Labour Organization, Ceplan and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Peru. She has also taught courses in academic research and social responsibility with a focus on human mobility at PUCP.
Rosa has extensive experience in research, design and analysis of public policies on issues related to human rights, human mobility, democracy and subnational politics. She is passionate about further developing research on these issues and prioritizing qualitative methodological techniques.

Margarita Musante
de Sardon-Glass Fellow, Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs
Margarita was most recently coordinator of evaluation of budgetary programs in the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers in Argentina. She coordinated technical proposals, monitored and evaluated social policies and programs prioritized by the national government, and linked SDGs to the national budget. Margarita has also worked in academia as a professor and researcher.
Her interests include public policy evaluation, human capital development, data-driven public policy, digital transformation and gender perspectives in public administration. Her goals include developing evidence-based public policies, women´s empowerment in decision-making, transparency and innovation, and implementing policies focusing on human capital.
She is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of CEMA. She holds an M.S. in applied economics and an M.S. in econometrics from Torcuato Di Tella University and earned a B.A. in economics from Rosario National University. Presently, Margarita is pursuing a master of public administration at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
