Emily Selby Smith is a cultural anthropology doctoral student at Syracuse University. Her research investigates the intersections of tourism and memory in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her master's research at the University of Memphis engaged with an American NGO's gendered representation of the populations they serve and their role in genocide education.
