Bio
Madison is a Ph.D. student in anthropology, specializing in historical archaeology. She holds a B.A. in anthropology and biology from Case Western University (2020) and an M.A. in the social sciences from The University of Chicago (2021).
Her research interests include the migration, displacement and mobilities of Indigenous peoples in North America, as well as the role that mapping plays in colonial power dynamics. In addition to her current research, Madison also has experience in osteological analysis and interests in repatriation practices in the United States.
