Brianna Hinkley is a doctoral candidate in anthropology with a focus in cultural medical anthropology. She received a B.A. in anthropology with a health and medicine minor from the University of Maine at Farmington (2021) and an M.A. in anthropology from Syracuse University (2025).
Her current research focuses on queer-intended parents' experiences with assisted reproductive care in New York state. This work is largely informed by the anthropology of kinship and reproduction, queer theory, and science and technology studies.
