Niloufar is a Ph.D. candidate in economics who studies how caregiving shapes caregivers' health, labor market outcomes and overall well-being, including how caregiving patterns shifted during the pandemic. She's also interested in how hospitals are adopting A.I. tools such as systems that predict patient discharges, and whether these tools improve outcomes like hospital readmission rates.
