Ananda Collins was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. She received her B.A in political science from Jackson State University in May 2020. She was presented with many opportunities to gain knowledge of the world of graduate studies, through her experience at Harvard Public Policy Leadership Conference in 2017, Purdue University Summer Research Opportunities Program in 2018, and the Howard University Pre-PhD Summer Enrichment Program in 2019. Her research interests include public opinion, celebrity politics, media and politics and political behavior.
