Bio

Chris Mihm is adjunct professor of public administration and international affairs, teaching public administration and democracy, among other topics. He is also managing director for strategic issues at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, a position he has held for more than 14 years. Mihm is the deputy chair on the Audit and Compliance Committee at the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), former chairman of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for the United Nations, and fellow and former chair of the board of directors at the National Academy of Public Administration.

Mihm was recently named a member of the Independent Expert Oversight Advisory Committee for the World Health Organization. Mihm has taught at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy and frequently serves as guest lecturer on topics related to globalized governance, public sector management reform, risk management and performance assessment, public-private partnerships, and performance budgeting, among others, for the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affair’s executive education training programs.
