Bio
Kiana Racha is a graduate student in political science at Syracuse University. Her academic interests span political communication, media and politics, and public policy and institutions, with a particular focus on how government and public sector organizations build trust, shape public perception, and communicate with the communities they serve.
Kiana brings a distinctive professional lens to her graduate studies. She serves as the communications and marketing manager for Syracuse University's Department of Public Safety, where she leads all public-facing communications, crisis messaging and institutional outreach for the department. Her work sits at the intersection of public accountability, institutional communication,and community engagement, areas that directly inform her academic interests and long-term research goals.
