The Maxwell Advantage

Jennifer Proch

I am Maxwell.

As a proficient speaker of German, Jen Proch was thrilled to discover the Maxwell School’s Atlantis Program, in which students can earn master’s degrees from both Maxwell and the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. “My internship at the Council of Europe confirmed how much I enjoy research and writing. And it provided insight into how I can use those skills in a job setting,” says Proch.

I am Maxwell

Initially, I was looking at programs that were primarily focused on Intelligence, Security Studies and National Security. However, I was worried about picking a master’s program that was very specific and didn’t want to pigeon-hole myself too early in my career. I chose Maxwell because of the broad-based, interdisciplinary curriculum, the expert faculty, and its strong ties to the military community.
