Professor Mary Lovely believes maintaining a globalized economy is more sustainable for the countries involved than moving manufacturing to the United States unnecessarily. "There’s this idea that there’s a fixed number of jobs to go around and we need to bring them back here for people to have," she says. "That’s not exactly true."
