Davis moves to Seneca County Industrial Development Agency

Sarah Davis ’16 MPA was named the executive director of the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (SENIDA). SENIDA is a public benefit corporation that works with site selectors, CEOs, and local business owners to build partnerships for the benefit of employers and those who live in Seneca County.

Mark Katz ’90 B.A. (PSt) has been named the executive vice president and general counsel of the Ryan Specialty Group, a Chicago-based insurance firm. In this new role, Katz will lead the company’s legal, compliance and regulatory functions.

Eatman named finance director for the Town of Hamden, Conn.

Curtis Eatman ’09 BA (PSc)/’11 MPA, Syracuse Alum, was hired as the new finance director for Hamden, Connecticut. In his new role managing the town’s fiscal affairs, Eatman will be primarily responsible for helping Hamden recover from a recent credit downgrade and helping to reduce their current debt burden.

Orose appointed executive director of Words Alive
