Political Science Application Requirements:

• Transcripts for all post-secondary schooling

• Official GRE scores, less than 2 years old. The Institution code for Syracuse University is 2823. No need to include a department code. 
  
  
• Official TOEFL scores for all international students, other than those with English as a first language and/or a degree from an undergraduate or postgraduate educational institution that taught all classes in English.  *Please note that the Political Science Department does NOT accept IELTS in place of TOEFL.
  
  

• Writing samples are required for Ph.D. applicants, such as a seminar paper, senior thesis or MA thesis.
