Building Healthier Communities through Innovation

This competition empowers undergraduate changemakers to transform public health ideas into actionable, scalable solutions.

In partnership with Blackstone LaunchPad, teams of 1-4 students develop entrepreneurial projects that advance health, equity and well-being through innovation and business strategy. Pitch your bold ideas to create healthier, more equitable communities.

Judging Process

Entries are judged based on problem solving, viability, social impact and other criteria. Interdisciplinary and inclusive teams are encouraged.

Awards

First place receives $5,000. Second place receives $3,000.

Opportunities

Participating in this competition presents students with the opportunity to network with stakeholders in entrepreneurship and public health and the chance to implement solutions on a real-world scale.

Resources

Students receive feedback from Lerner Center and Blackstone LaunchPad advisors, templates to use for developing their materials and guidance for refining their ideas.
