Michael is a Ph.D. student in the Economics Department. Prior to starting graduate studies, he worked as a senior analyst at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. There he studied the labor market returns to sub-baccalaureate education, competency-based education, and tracking.
His research interests are in the economics of education and the importance of place.
