Bio
Nick is a Ph.D. candidate in the Political Science Department at Syracuse University. His research examines how identity and emotion shape political attitudes and behavior, with a particular focus on LGBTQ political identity in contemporary American politics.
His dissertation explores the contours and consequences of LGBTQ political identity, investigating how group-based considerations such as linked fate shape political participation. He also serves as a graduate research associate on the U.S. Policy Agendas Project in the Campbell Public Affairs Institute. Prior to his doctoral studies, Nick earned both a B.A. and M.A. in political science from Villanova University
