The Maxwell Economics program is a high-quality undergraduate program within which we have two alternative tracks, BA and BS. In both tracks we provide a strong foundation in micro- and macroeconomics through our introductory and intermediate courses, which is followed by more specialized courses or electives. Undergraduates can choose from a wide range of electives in International Economics, Labor Economics, Public Economics, Urban Economics, Health Economics, Development Economics and Econometrics. Joseph Minicozzi, AICP is the principal of Urban3, a real estate consulting company in Asheville, North Carolina. Joe's cross-training in city planning in the public and private sectors, as well as private sector real estate finance, has allowed him to develop award-winning analytic tools that have garnered national attention. Joe is a highly sought-after lecturer on city planning issues. He will address the I81 proposals and the Upstate Revitalization Initiative and the economic impacts of both on the city of Syracuse.
