Mona Bhan, associate professor of anthropology and Ford-Maxwell Professor of South Asian Studies, was interviewed by several media outlets regarding India's revocation of Articles 370 and 35A and what it means for the future of Kashmir. "I expect massive resistance," Bhan told China Global Television Network (CGTN). "What that resistance might look like, we are not entirely certain about that quite yet. It also depends of course on this massive military influx of the Indian forces into Kashmir territory and how that's going to pen out, how people are going to be able to navigate this new terrain of intense militarization," she said.
