Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs are launching two new dual degree programs: the master of public administration (M.P.A.) combined with the master of business administration (MBA) and the master of arts (M.A.) in international relations combined with an MBA.
Christopher Beardsley, an M.P.A./M.A. (IR) student, has been named a 2022 Boren Fellow. Boren Awards fund students to study critical languages through immersive experiences abroad. Applicants must articulate a commitment to public service and national security.
Seven Maxwell students and alumni have been named as 2022 recipients of awards through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. The program funds a range of awards that include English teaching assistantships (ETA) and study/research grants in over 140 countries.
Michael "MP" Geiss has been named one of the University’s Class of 2023 Senior Class Marshals. Geiss will represent his graduating class and lead the student procession during the 2023 Commencement ceremony.
