Justin Mattingly
Class of 2017

Justin has been able to pursue his two passions, journalism and politics, as a student at Syracuse University. A dual major in Political Science and Newspaper & Online Journalism, Justin is the Editor in Chief of The Daily Orange and has reported on the University’s lobbying activities and political contributions. Upon graduation, he hopes to work as a news reporter at a metropolitan newspaper and eventually, to “hold officials accountable” by reporting in the nation’s capital.
• Any student can declare a minor. Students who have completed one PSC course (with a C- or better) can declare a major in Political Science.
