"Contagious exporting and foreign ownership: Evidence from firms in Shanghai using a Bayesian spatial bivariate probit model," co-authored by Badi Baltagi, Distinguished Professor of Economics, was published in Regional Science and Urban Economics. The authors illustrate at the micro level that exporting and foreign ownership decisions are affected by the decisions of other firms in a certain geographical neighborhood. In addition, the exporting and foreign ownership decisions are correlated through dependence not only on the same fundamentals but also through the stochastic shocks. 06/11/19
