The Bantle Chair at the Maxwell School supports the research of graduate students and holds an annual symposium as well as hosts many prominent guest speakers throughout the academic year. The chair was established in 1990 by Louis F. Bantle and UST, Inc.
The Howard G. and S. Louise Phanstiel Chair in Leadership
The Phanstiel Chair at the Maxwell School supports enhanced training for future government leaders who are ethical, strategic and innovative thinkers. The chair was established by Howard G. and S. Louise Phanstiel in 2006.
Sawyer Law and Politics Program
The Sawyer Law and Politics Program supports research and teaching on law and politics, broadly defined. The program is funded by an endowment created by former students of Michael O. Sawyer, a legendary teacher of constitutional law at the Maxwell School for 42 years.
