DeVaughn Ritchie

M.A. Student, Political Science Department

Bio

DeVaughn is from Queens, New York, and is pursuing an M.A. in political science. His area of interest is American politics, specifically party polarization, money in politics and special interest groups. He will graduate from Syracuse University with a B.A. in political science and a minor in public health in December 2025.

Outside of academics, DeVaughn served in the U.S. Army for a total of three years and is a current member of the Veteran Student Organization at SU.
