Bio
Hamad is a Ph.D. candidate whose research traces how identity shapes voter behavior and accountability in elections under authoritarian settings. Beyond electoral politics, he is interested in international security and civil military relations with a particular focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Hamad is also a graduate research associate at the Middle Eastern Studies Program.
Hamad earned a M.A in conflict resolution with a minor in Arab studies from Georgetown University.
