Bio
Esther is a third year Ph.D. student in Sociology from Nigeria. Her research interests broadly focus on health outcomes across populations, particularly health disparities and the social determinants of health.
With a growing research interest in substance use and maternal mental health, she is interested in examining trends and disparities in maternal health outcomes and how social and structural conditions, including policies and access to resources and care, contribute to these disparities, particularly among working age adults.
