General Michael Hayden, retired United States Air Force four-star general, and former director of the CIA and National Security Agency, will speak at the Maxwell School on his new book, "The Assault on Intelligence: American National Security in an Age of Lies." This lecture is made possible by the generous funding of the Howard G. and S. Louise Phanstiel Chair in Strategic Management and Leadership and is co-sponsored by the D'Aniello Speaker Series, a joint endeavor by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs; and the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT). There will be a reception immediately following and RSVP is not required. For additional information please contact Shiron Gaines at sgaines@syr.edu or 202-888-6644.
