    Dr. Mattson is the Chief of Laboratory Neurosciences at the National Institute on Aging and Professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. He is an expert in the areas of mechanisms of brain function, stress response, aging and age-related neurodegenerative disorders. This year's 2014 Syracuse Seminar on Aging is co-sponsored by Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center.
