Many families are vacationing this summer with three or more generations together and experts are offering advice on how best to pull it off. One tip is to discuss who pays for what. On family trips, "there is very little money flowing uphill" to the older generation, Madonna Harrington Meyer, university professor of sociology and author of "Grandmothers at Work," has found in her research.
