Maxwell faculty, students honored at One University Awards ceremony

Syracuse University held the third annual One University Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 12, 2019, in Hendricks Chapel, honoring dozens of members of the University community for their scholarship, teaching, academic achievement, leadership and service. The following Maxwell faculty member and students were among the honorees:

Chancellor’s Forever Orange Award: Peter Choi (political science, policy studies)

Student-Athlete Award: Madeleine Davis (sociology)

Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement and Scholarship: Arva Hassonjee (international relations, citizenship and civic engagement)

Meredith Teaching Recognition Award: Tessa Murphy, assistant professor of history
