Anna De La Paz examines how welfare state and payer systems shape the organization of reproductive care work. A registered dietitian, Anna brings professional experience in pediatric care and in expanding food access through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
Her work bridges sociology, public health and social policy, with a focus on how institutional structures shape care practices, access to support, and inequalities in maternal and infant health.
