Anna De La Paz is a Ph.D. student in sociology at Syracuse University, where she examines how welfare state policies shape the care work of parenting, with a particular focus on breastfeeding practices in the U.S. and Europe.
A registered dietitian and doula, Anna brings professional experience in pediatric care and in expanding food access through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
