Biography

Colin grew up in Canton, NY, and received his BA with a double major in Economics and Canadian studies in addition to a minor in Government from St. Lawrence University ('12). He completed a Master’s degree in Education at SUNY Potsdam ('15), where his thesis addressed the inadequacy of economics instruction in American high schools, and also the superiority in educational efficacy of private over public schools. Colin spent the last few years as a teacher at a private boarding school in eastern Maine, where he taught Economics and AP History courses to students from 14 different countries. Colin also served as a history adjunct for Husson University. His research interests are centered around Public Choice analysis, and the use of economic tools and methodologies to ad-dress issues related to public voting and policy support and he plans to double major in Comparative and American politics.
