Sara Adams hails from Rochester, New York. She received her B.A. in political science at SUNY Cortland in 2016 before starting at Syracuse’s College of Law. Her favorite topics in political science include the European Union, international human rights, civil rights, healthcare, domestic social policy, and progressive federalism. She is president of the Women’s Law Student Association, as well as leader of the Syracuse chapter of the American Constitution Society. She also writes as a News Reporter on the College of Law’s Impunity Watch blog. She spent summer 2017 in Washington, D.C., working at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In her free time, Sara likes to talk law and politics with her friends and family members until they start to get bored.
