Mona Bhan, associate professor of anthropology and Ford-Maxwell Professor of South Asian Studies, was a guest on Al Jazeera's The Stream for the segment "What does the domicile law mean for Kashmir?" Bhan discusses the new rules that allow Indian citizens who have lived in Jammu and Kashmir for 15 years to claim a "domicile certificate" for residency benefits, as well as those who have studied there for seven years, and what they mean for Kashmiris. 06/16/20
