A senior Indian diplomat recently sparked anger by calling for the adoption of an “Israeli model” in Indian-administered Kashmir. "The video was chilling," says Mona Bhan, associate professor of anthropology and Ford-Maxwell Professor of South Asian Studies. "It tries to recreate an idyllic home for Kashmiri Pandits based on ugly and violent exclusions."
