"Mismatch and academic performance at America’s selective colleges and universities," a study co-authored by Amy Lutz, associate professor of sociology, was published in Ethnic and Racial Studies. Lutz and her co-authors found that although mismatch may lower performance at selective colleges, it does not appear to prevent students who may have benefited from affirmative action from obtaining important credentials from America’s elite educational institutions. 11/17/17
